On August 5, 2011, the members of Orange County Volunteer EMS agencies from across the county assisted in the moving of 230 plus patients from closing Arden Hill and Horton hospitals to the new Orange Regional Medical Center. Working with Mobile Life Support Services—the lead agency– these agencies started moving patients at 5am and the brought last patient to the new medical center at 2pm. 3 hours ahead of schedule! A bit if trivia about the new hospital—the first ER patient came in about 5:30 & that patient had the first baby a few hours later! Pictured below is just a few of the member from our member agencies. |
